Samsung has officially confirmed the launch window for the One UI 9 beta program, and as usual, testing is will be available only in select markets.
Samsung’s firmware beta program will be limited to a handful of regions. As per the official announcement, the One UI 9 beta will go live in the following countries:
If past beta rollouts are an indication, Korea is expected to be first in line, followed closely by the US, the UK, and Germany.
The remaining countries on the One UI 9 beta list should follow shortly after. India and Poland may join in a second phase of rollout, though Samsung has not officially confirmed the order.
The Galaxy S26 series will be the first to gain access to the One UI 9 beta program. So far, Samsung has only explicitly mentioned the Galaxy S26 lineup. However, as with previous beta cycles, the program is expected to expand to additional Galaxy devices over time.
Eligible Galaxy S26 users in supported regions who want to participate will be able to apply through the Samsung Members app once registration opens. As usual, participation will be limited, and Samsung typically accepts only a set number of applicants per region.
As for One UI 9 itself, Samsung’s beta announcement highlights several new and updated features, including:
Beyond the beta phase, the first devices expected to ship with One UI 9 out of the box are the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide.
In the meantime, One UI 8.5 continues its public rollout, gradually reaching more regions and Galaxy devices.
