Samsung officially began rolling out One UI 8 on September 15, with the Galaxy S25 series being the first to receive the update. The company hyped up the release by highlighting the big new features of One UI 8, which is based on Android 16.
But perhaps even more exciting for Galaxy fans, Samsung has also shared a list of devices that will be eligible for the update in 2025. This list, tucked away in the footnotes, isn’t completely comprehensive: a couple of models, such as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, don’t appear on it.
Samsung has also left out region-specific lineups, like Galaxy F and Galaxy M smartphones. Still, it gives us a good idea of Samsung’s update roadmap and suggests that most eligible devices will have One UI 8 by the end of 2025. The only disappointing part is that every device except the Galaxy S25 series will get the update from October.
As mentioned earlier, this isn’t a complete list of devices getting One UI 8. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Click here to see the full list of Galaxy phones and tablets eligible for the update.
