Aditya Babbar, Director of Mobile Business at Samsung India, told Gadgets 360 that the company wanted to adapt to the current pandemic condition in the country. He also revealed that Samsung has set sales targets for both Galaxy Note 20 devices and reiterated that the company remains committed to its Exynos processors. Mr. Babbar also said that Samsung will continue to sell the Galaxy Note 10 in India without reducing its price. The phones will go on sale in India on August 28.
The phones are available in India for pre-order through Amazon.in, Flipkart, and Samsung's online store. The Galaxy Note 20 costs INR 77,999 (around $1,040) in the country, while the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G is priced at INR 1,04,990 (around $1,400). The Galaxy Note 20 is available in Mystic Blue, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic Green colors, while the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is being sold in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze.
Samsung is offering a cashback of up to INR 9,000 (around $120) for pre-order purchases made using HDFC credit or debit cards. It is also offering up to INR 10,000 (around $133) worth of in-store credits so that customers can buy Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds series devices or other accessories from Samsung's online store. Customers making purchases using the Samsung Shop app are also eligible to receive a discount of INR 2,000.
The company received more than 500,000 pre-registrations for the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in India. It still hasn't revealed launch dates for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Watch 3, and the Galaxy Buds Live in the country.
