Samsung is celebrating Mother's Day in the United States with a new Galaxy S22 offer wherein buyers can get a free memory upgrade and enjoy 256GB of built-in storage for the price of 128GB.

If this deal sounds familiar, it's because the free memory upgrade was originally offered as a Galaxy S22 pre-order bonus. But the flagship's been around for a few months now, and the free memory upgrade is making a comeback for Mother's Day.

Thanks to Samsung's generosity, customers in the USA can now buy the 256GB Galaxy S22 for $799. The 256GB Galaxy S22+ is available for $999, and the price of the Galaxy S22 Ultra with the same memory capacity is down to $1,199.

These prices usually correspond to the 128GB models, but now — for as long as this deal lasts — there's virtually no reason for new customers to pick the base model instead of the 256GB alternative. It's a free memory upgrade, after all.
