Pro-grade Expert RAW camera app is available for Galaxy Z Fold 3

Last year, Samsung released the pro-grade mobile photography app Expert RAW for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, and availability has since expanded to include the Galaxy S22. Now, Samsung is rolling out a new update for Expert RAW, and this time, it adds compatibility for the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Samsung said in February that it is looking into what other flagship phones could benefit from Expert RAW support. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 surely fits the description of a flagship, and customers can now finally get to use the pro-grade photography app.

Expert RAW is available through the Galaxy Store, and the latest update to version 1.0.02.6 adds a few extra goodies aside from compatibility with the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

According to the changelog, the latest Expert RAW version benefits from faster processing time when capturing photos in low-light environments and improves image quality in various scenes. The update weighs almost 50MB.

Hopefully, this new release for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 signals that Expert RAW will soon come to more Galaxy flagships. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and S20 Ultra are still missing Expert RAW, and so does the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
