One UI 5.1 update is finally available for the Galaxy M33 5G in India

Samsung released the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M33 5G in South Korea at the beginning of March. Now, the company is pushing the update out to more markets, and India is the latest to join the party.

One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy M33 brings the Effects button for selfies, improves Gallery search in a way that allows users to search for people by tapping their faces and introduces the shared family album to the Gallery. In addition, the same Gallery app gets a slightly revamped info screen for photos and videos.

Other features mentioned in the changelog are easier multitasking with improved pop-up view and split-screen functionality, suggestions in the Settings app, and a new option that lets users determine the folder in which screenshots and screen recordings are saved.

Galaxy M33 5G users in India should be able to download the latest One UI 5.1 firmware and March 2023 security patch upon receiving the notification or by opening the Settings app on their phones, accessing “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.” Users who prefer manual updates over a Windows PC can refer to the firmware section on our website and download the official firmware files once they are available.
