Microsoft has released the Copilot app for iOS and iPadOS, meaning you can install it on an iPhone or an iPad. Apple also allows you to install the app on macOS but only on devices powered by the company's M-series chipset.

As most of you might already know, Copilot is Microsoft’s chat assistant powered by generative AI. Based on OpenAI’s GPT-4 and DALL·E 3 models, it can answer queries, carry out various tasks, and generate images using text descriptions, making it a very useful day-to-day productivity tool for many people. Fortunately, you can use the app for free, making it a no-nonsense decision to install on your device.

On the app's listing, Microsoft says “Improve Your Productivity with Copilot–Your AI-Powered Chat Assistant. Copilot is a pioneering chat assistant from Microsoft powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3. These advanced AI technologies provide fast, complex, and precise responses, as well as the ability to create breathtaking visuals from simple text descriptions. Chat and create all in one place—for free!

If you are an Android user, you don't need to be jealous because Copilot is also available on Google’s mobile OS. Microsoft released it on the platform last month. With that, Copilot is now available on all the major platforms.
