Yesterday, Samsung released the May 2026 security patch for the Galaxy S25 series, fixing 36 security issues present in the previous version of the OS. However, the brand offered it only to three main devices in the lineup, the base, Plus, and Ultra models, and not to the Fan Edition model. That’s changing today.
Samsung has released the May 2026 security patch for the Galaxy S25 FE. Unsurprisingly, the brand is offering it first in its home market, South Korea. The update 291.31MB in size and carries firmware version S731NKSS7BZE1 (via Tarun Vats). We expect the company to release it in other countries in the next few days.

Earlier this month, Samsung released the stable version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 FE. It brings a ton of changes, including visual changes and new features. If you haven’t already installed it, you may have to do so before getting the May 2026 security patch.
