The Galaxy Tab S12+ is one of Samsung's two high-end tablet for 2026. It is bring performance and feature upgrades over the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S10+. It also brings One UI 9.0 along with newer Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ is an extremely thin yet well-built device. It follows the same overall design as its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S10+, with a metal frame made from Enhanced Armor Aluminum and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The S Pen included with the tablet also has an IP68 rating.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ sports a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1,752 x 2,800 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, up to 1,000 nits brightness in high brightness mode (HBM), and 1,600 nits peak brightness (HDR). It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG video playback. It has four speakers with 4-channel spatial audio.

The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to resist scuffs and scratches. It has an under-display optical fingerprint reader for biometrics and security.

The bundled S Pen is uses Wacom EMR technology and offers accurate drawing and writing. It supports tilt detection, 4,096 pressure levels, 2.8ms latency, and can attach magnetically to the tablet for charging.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Tab S12+ with a single 12MP front-facing camera and a 12MP rear-facing camera with autofocus. Both cameras record up to 4K 30fps videos.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, depending on the variant. You can expand its storage space using the microSD card slot, which supports up to 2TB cards.

It features GPS, 5G on cellular models, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with speeds of up to 5Gbps.

One UI 9.0 comes pre-installed on the Galaxy Tab S12+. The Android 17-based software brings improved fluidity and a more consistent interface across Samsung's stock apps. It also introduces additional customization and personalization options, such as more clock font options for lock screen widgets.

The tablet also offers more advanced Galaxy AI features, including improved versions of Now Brief and Now Nudge.

It comes preloaded with productivity apps like Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, LumaFusion, Notability, and Notion. Apps like ArcSite, MyScript Math, MyScript Notes, and NoteShelf 3 are optimized for the tablet.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ has a typical battery capacity of 10,600mAh. Thats represent around a 5% increase over the Galaxy Tab S10+. It supports 45W fast wired charging (USB PD PPS) but a charger is not bundled with the device in the box.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra on September 30, 2026, and the tablets went on sale on October 7, 2026 in multiple countries and regions.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ is priced at $1,199 in the USA, £1,199 in the UK, and €1,329 in Europe for the 256GB Wi-Fi-only model. Other variants cost more.
