Galaxy Tab Active 3 could be coming soon as it appears in Bluetooth SIG database
It has been close to three years since Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab Active 2, and the company has not come up with its successor yet. However, that could soon change as a new tablet named Galaxy Tab Active 3 has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database, which means the company could launch it soon.
Three primary variants of the Galaxy Tab Active 3—SM-T570, SM-T575, and SM-T577—appeared in the Bluetooth certification agency’s database. These could be Wi-Fi only and LTE variants of the upcoming rugged tablet. The tablet features Bluetooth 5.0 for fast wireless connectivity. The company seems to have started the development of the tablets in May 2020 as earlier entries are visible in the database.
Apart from the upcoming tablet’s name and model numbers, not much is known about the Galaxy Tab Active 3. Going by previous tablets in the series, it could have a rugged design with MIL-STD-810G standards, IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, an S Pen, a removable battery, and an entry-level processor. Going by the model numbers, it could have variants with Wi-Fi only and LTE connectivity.
