The Galaxy Fold 5G got a variety of new features early last month thanks to the release of One UI 2.1. But as explained shortly after the initial launch, not every One UI 2.1 feature was included in that release. Now, with the latest firmware update rolling out in the UK, the Galaxy Fold 5G finally benefits from Pro video mode, Single Take, as well as 4K selfie videos at 60 frames per second. You can check this guide to learn how you can enable 4K 60fps selfie video mode on the Galaxy Fold 5G.
The new update also includes the May 2020 security patch. It fixes a variety of Android OS vulnerabilities and SVEs (Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures).
To apply the latest Galaxy Fold 5G update including the May 2020 security patch and the new camera features, head down to our firmware archive, download the package for your phone and region, then install it using a Windows computer. You can also check for updates manually on your phone by opening Settings, accessing Software update, and tapping Download and install.
