Original story follows

Samsung’s upper mid-range smartphone portfolio is soon going to see a new entrant. Leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G were already making rounds on the internet, several months ago. Purported leaked design, camera specs, and various certifications have already given us plenty of information about the device.

But now, the Galaxy A53 5G was spotted on TENNA, revealing impressive specifications and photos of the phone in black. This also confirms that Samsung is inching closer with the launch of the phone.

The Galaxy A53 5G will pack a 5000 mAh battery

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the TENNA certification reveals the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G’s complete specifications, right from its screen size, battery capacity, and camera specifications. The Galaxy A53 5G is reported to come with a 6.46-inch Full HD+ 1080×2400 resolution display. The display will sport a punch-hole to house the 12MP selfie camera.

The phone will have the power and volume buttons on its usual right-side location. Samsung is going to offer the Galaxy A53 5G with 8GB of RAM, which will be coupled either with 128GB/256GB of onboard storage options. However, the good news is that the device will come with a dedicated microSD card slot, allowing storage expansion to up to 1TB.

Samsung to offer the phone in white and blue colors

Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1200 processor and will run Android 12 One UI 4.1 out of the box. Talking about the cameras, it will rock a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera at the rear. The camera will be capable of shooting videos in 4K. It will be topped up by a 5000 mAh battery that will support 25W fast charging. Sadly, Samsung will offer a 15W charger inside the box.

The certification further reveals that Galaxy A53 5G will be offered in white and blue color options. Moreover, the phone will measure 159.5×74.7×8.1mm in terms of dimensions. It will weigh under 200 grams, 190 grams to be exact. Samsung has equipped the smartphone with all necessary sensors and connectivity features. As of now, the exact date of launch is not revealed by Samsung.
