The Galaxy S23 series is expected to launch in February 2023, and it will most likely have three devices: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. While all three phones have been spotted on various certification platforms in the past, today, the Galaxy S23 has made a visit to two more certification platforms, Thailand's NBTC and India's BIS, which reveal a few interesting details.

Previously, it was speculated that the model number of one of the variants of the Galaxy S23 is SM-S911B/DS. However, there was no confirmation about it. Today, the same model made an appearance on Thai NBTC for certification. Interestingly, the listing mentions that its marketing name is Galaxy S23, confirming the previous speculation about its name and model number.

Along with NBTC, the Galaxy S23 (SM-S911B/DS) also made a visit to the BIS certification platform, which confirms that the company is working towards bringing the smartphone to India. Considering that the Galaxy S23 is now getting certified by different authorities, it looks like the phone’s development is complete, and the launch of the Galaxy S23 lineup is on track.

According to previous leaks, the Galaxy S23 will feature an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. More importantly, the phone will get the same chipset in all countries. So, hopefully, this time, you don’t have to complain about Samsung giving special treatment to some countries and offering others with the less-capable Exynos chipset.

The previous leaks have also revealed that the Galaxy S23 will get a 3,785mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging, and its connectivity options will include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC. Although the details about its display and camera are scarce at the moment, expect Samsung to offer newer and improved camera sensors as well as a better screen.
