Samsung and Apple have had a long-standing love and hate relationship, with the two companies often going up against each other in court battles while doing business together at the same time. Samsung has been manufacturing Apple's iPhone processors since the iPhone 4 launched back in 2010, and also been providing displays for the Cupertino giant's iPads and MacBooks.

Now, it seems Samsung is taking its task of creating displays for its arch-rival even more seriously, as Samsung Display has reportedly created a dedicated team of around 200 employees for working exclusively on displays for Apple products. This group will be secretive and not be allowed to share information about its business with Apple with anyone outside, reports Bloomberg. The same team will also work on sales and strengthening Samsung's ties with Apple.

Samsung is putting a huge focus on its smartphone game and also on the components that go inside. The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge use a slew of components created by their parent company, and Samsung has also been rumored to be the forerunner for manufacturing the next iPhone processor and possibly a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip in the near future. A stronger relationship with Apple is naturally going to be very fruitful (pun intended) considering the popularity of Apple's products, though it remains to be seen if this will help the two companies end their fights in the courts anytime soon.
