TL;DR

  • Samsung has started rolling out One UI 9.0 based on Android 17 to the Galaxy Tab S10 series, beginning in South Korea.
  • The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus Wi-Fi variant is among the first to get it, with firmware X820XXUBEZJ5 and a 3.77GB download.
  • The update includes One UI 9.0 features like Quick Panel customization and DeX improvements, but it ships with the September 2026 security patch.

Samsung started rolling out One UI 9.0 (Android 17) to its tablets last month. As expected, the brand offered the new software first to its flagship lineup, the Galaxy Tab S11 series. Now, the company has started rolling its latest custom Android interface to the Galaxy Tab S10 series as well.

As usual, the tech giant has released the update first in its home market, South Korea. The one for the Plus model’s non-cellular variant has a size of 3,773.88MB and carries firmware version X820XXUBEZJ5 (via @Alfaturk16). Other countries should get it soon.

You can check if Samsung has made the Galaxy Tab S10 series One UI 9.0 update available in your region by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.

It is worth pointing out that Samsung phones and tablets that have recently received updates offering One UI 9.0 also packed the October 2027 security patch. However, the one for the Galaxy Tab S10 series doesn’t come with it. It comes with the September 2026 security patch instead.

As for the changes and upgrades One UI 9.0 brings, it provides you with more options to customize the Quick Panel, enhancements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility options, and a location privacy indicator, among other things. You can check them out in our video below.
