Samsung may launch the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Ultra on October 7

The new tablets are Samsung's only flagship mobile devices left for the year, and we finally have an expected launch date.

It's claimed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra next month, on October 7, to be precise.

Earlier reports had claimed that Samsung could launch these tablets between September and October, so the launch date provided by Evan Blass on X is in line with those assumptions.

It's believed that the Galaxy Tab S12+ will be available with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. They may feature MediaTek's new Dimensity 9500 processor, with a cellular variant also being available for the 256GB model. Pricing is expected to start at $1,199 in the United States.

Samsung will utilize the same chipset for the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, which will be available with up to 1TB storage and 16GB of RAM. Pricing is likely to start at $1,399 in the United States. Both tablets are likely to have the same design and other specifications as last year's models.

They will run Android 17 with One UI 9.0 out of the box, with support for seven generations of Android OS upgrades. Like earlier models, the new tablets will feature S Pen support with the stylus shipping inside the box, as well as an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
