Barely two weeks after the two foldables were updated to One UI 8.5 worldwide, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are getting a new software update.
Making its debut in Korea, the May 2026 security update brings the latest security patch to these phones. It's also expected to be available for the Galaxy Z TriFold and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 owners can identify the update by a build number ending in BZE1. It's a little over 400 MB in size and can be downloaded over the air from the phone's Settings > Software update menu.
Korea received One UI 8.5 a few days before the rest of the world, so it may take a couple of days for this security update to go live in other countries.
