Samsung has released the stable version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. At the moment, the brand is rolling it out in its home country, South Korea (via Samsung Community), starting with the devices enrolled in the beta program.
At the moment, there's no official information about when the company will release it in other regions. However, going by Samsung's software rollout history, the tech giant should offer the update in some of its biggest markets, such as India and the US, in the next couple of days.
The update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, bringing the stable version of One UI 8.5, is 481.66MB in size and carries firmware version BZDP. The update for devices running on One UI 8.0 should be much larger in size.
As we have been discussing for months, One UI 8.5 brings a plethora of changes. For starters, you get a slightly redesigned UI, which looks cleaner, more sophisticated, and more consistent throughout. It is also more customisable. Then you get plenty of new features, making the phone more convenient for you. You can check out the major changes in our video below.
