The South Korean firm will equip the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ with the same chip that will debut with the Galaxy A56. The upcoming Fan Edition tablets will use the Exynos 1580 processor that was unveiled three months ago. This information comes from Android Authority that dug through code related to the devices.
The code also revealed that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will come in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular variants.
The Exynos 1580 is a powerful chip using much newer CPU cores from ARM and a GPU that uses AMD's RDNA3 architecture. The 4nm chip has four Cortex-A720 CPU cores, four Cortex-A520 CPU cores, and the Xclipse 540 GPU. It should be a massive improvement over the 5nm Exynos 1480 used in the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro reportedly uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (SM7635) processor. This is the same chip used in the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro. The upcoming tablet will come in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular versions.
Samsung usually waits a year and a half to release new Fan Edition tablets. However, it could bring the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series a bit sooner, and we say this after looking at how soon information related to the upcoming devices has leaked. Maybe the devices will be launched by the end of this year.
