The latest software update for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ comes with firmware version G97xUSQU6IVH2 in the US. The update is now live on T-Mobile's network, but it will soon expand to other network carriers in the country. The August 2022 security patch fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities, including those related to MAC address leaks, Samsung DeX, Samsung Knox, and improper access control. It also improves device stability and reliability.
If you have a carrier-locked model of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, or the Galaxy S10+ in the US, you can download and install the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 series with Android 9 in early 2019. The smartphones in the series received the Android 10 update in early 2020, the Android 11 update in early 2021, and the Android 12 update earlier this year. They won't get Android OS updates in the future, but they will continue to receive security patches for the next two years.
