Earlier this month, Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and the Galaxy A73 5G during its Galaxy Awesome Unpacked 2022 event. A few days ago, the company launched the Galaxy A53 5G in India. Today, the South Korean firm announced that it is also bringing the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A73 5G to the Indian market.

The company had launched the Galaxy A13 and the Galaxy A23 in India last week. The Galaxy A13 is priced at INR 14,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant, INR 15,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, and INR 17,499 for the 6GB+64GB variant. The Galaxy A23 costs INR 19,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant and INR 20,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. All phones will be available in Black, Blue, Peach, and White color variants.

The Galaxy A53 5G's 6GB+128GB variant costs INR 34,499, while the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at INR 35,999. Samsung hasn't announced the pricing for the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A73 5G yet. It will be interesting to see how the company structures the pricing of the Galaxy A73 5G as the Galaxy A53 5G starts at INR 34,499 and the Galaxy S20 FE 5G starts at INR 40,000.

Galaxy A73 5G specs revealed in detail

The Galaxy A73 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 108MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP depth sensor, a 5MP macro camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera. It can capture 4K 30fps videos using front and rear cameras. It runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1, and it will get four major Android OS updates and five years of security patches.

It uses the Snapdragon 778G chipset in combination with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It has an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

As far as we can tell, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is a better phone overall compared to the Galaxy A73 5G as it features a faster processor, better cameras, Samsung Pay, Wireless DeX, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Apart from longer software update support, there isn't really a valid reason to buy the Galaxy A73 5G over the Galaxy S20 FE 5G.
