When it comes to the foldable or flip smartphone category, there is no touching Samsung. With the amazing success of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Samsung has cemented its place at the top of this niche segment of smartphones, which will not be easy for other brands to replace.
However, recently we have seen other brands such as Huawei and OPPO enter the foldable smartphone segment. While most foldable devices from these brands are limited for China, they do look promising and, if launched globally, could give rise to healthy competition in the foldable smartphone market, which is currently dominated by Samsung.
And it appears that Samsung shares our sentiment. Because the Korean giant recently complimented one of its rival devices, notably the OPPO Find N, on Twitter. There is no confirmation as to whether this was an intentional decision or not.
An OPPO and OnePlus PR executive posted a GIF of the OPPO Find N on Twitter, reminding everyone that today's smartphones are not at all boring. It received multiple responses, but the one that stands out was from the official Samsung Mobile US Twitter handle, which you can see below.

As already mentioned, we are not sure whether Samsung knowingly praised the OPPO Find N or whether it thought that the device in the GIF was one of its Galaxy Fold series devices. Of course, it is also possible that Samsung was simply being a good sport and praising foldable devices in general.
After all, Samsung's the one that changed the smartphone industry by kickstarting the foldable revolution, and given its huge lead in the segment, it's probably feeling confident enough to give credit where it's due, even if it's a device from the competition.
