Galaxy Tab S8 might not offer too many memory and color options

Yesterday, we got a glimpse at the Galaxy S22 series' colour variants and memory/storage configuration via Twitter user Snoopytech. Now, the leaker has learned what the premium Galaxy Tab S8 series has in store for us in that department. Unlike the Galaxy S22 series, the Galaxy Tab S8 variants will be a lot more inflexible in terms of variety.

For starters, the entry-level Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+ will be offered up in Wi-Fi-only and 5G flavors with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The leaker suggests that it could be the only memory/storage configuration for the two models. Furthermore, there are only two colorways for the tablets, namely dark grey and silver.

Things get a little more confounding with the top-of-the-line Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Its Wi-Fi-only version ships with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On the other hand, one can configure its 5G-ready sibling with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/512GB of storage. Furthermore, the tablet will be sold in one singular dark grey colour.

The above information sits in line with an earlier report, which told us that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra would only have one colour variant. However, it stated that the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+ could also include a Rose Gold version. It is possible that Samsung may have axed the Rose Gold version somewhere down the line due to production issues.
