Samsung has released the Android 14/One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy A33 in India. The 2022 A-series smartphone first received the update a month ago in Europe. The pace of the rollout seemed to have slowed down for a while but picked up steam at the start of the year.

For Indian Galaxy A33 owners, the update comes with firmware version A336EDXU7DWL1 and the November 2023 security patch. It is a 2.2GB download, and you should be able to grab it over the air by selecting the Download and install option in the phone's Settings » Software update menu.

You can check out the video above for a rundown of some of One UI 6 and Android 14's best new features or our extensive guide if you want to get down to the nitty-gritty. Once your phone is updated, also check out Samsung's awesome AI-powered Galaxy Enhance-X app, which received support for several Galaxy A smartphones with the latest version of One UI.

Android 14 is not the final major OS upgrade for the Galaxy A33. The device is also eligible for Android 15. In the near future, Galaxy A33 owners can look forward to One UI 6.1, a minor update that will debut on the Galaxy S24 lineup later this month with some fancy AI features, though whether or not those AI features will be released for devices eligible for One UI 6.1 remains to be seen.
