With the Galaxy S24 series just around the corner, this might not be the best time to buy a new smartphone. But if you're in the market for a foldable phone, it's as good a time as ever. And thanks to a new promotion, you can save $200 on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 without a trade-in.

There's a couple of caveats to this $200 offer. First, it's valid only for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 with 1TB of storage. While Samsung usually sells the 1TB variant for $2,159, you can now buy it for $1,959 and get the highest amount of onboard storage possible for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 at a discount.

If you prefer buying your phones through Samsung Financing, this $200 discount is spread over a 24-month period. You can buy the 1TB Galaxy Z Fold 5 for $81.67 a month instead of $90.01.

Story continues after our Galaxy Z Fold 5 review video

The other caveat is that the $200 discount applies to four of five color options, including Phantom Black, Grey, Cream, and Icy Blue. It's not valid for the regular Blue model.

If you want to trade in another phone for a bigger discount, you can save up to $1,000. Samsung offers enhanced trade-in values for older foldable phones, and you can save $1,000 if you exchange the Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 4. Or you can save $800 on the 1TB Galaxy Z Fold 5 when you trade up from the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Hit the “Buy” button below while the deal lasts. If you're using a mobile device, Samsung might ask if you want to install the official Shop app upon visiting the online store. If you order through the mobile app, you might get extra bonuses.
