Microsoft is all set to introduce the long-pending 3D emojis for Windows 11 laptops and computers. Almost two years ago, Microsoft teased that it would introduce 3D emojis that would replace the company's dated flat emoji design. However, the company has recently released the Windows Insider Preview Build (25905) that brings the 3D design to all of your favorite emojis.

Notably, the new emojis on Windows 11 will be similar to the ones released for Microsoft Teams. The 3D design will be achieved by adding a gradient border. Back in July 2021, Microsoft announced that the emojis would be available for Windows 11, and it did deliver them later in November that year. However, the emojis were far from being 3D.

Well, the new 3D emojis are finally here for Galaxy Book and other desktops and laptops running Windows 11. As per Microsoft, the emojis use the new 11 COLRv1 color font format in Windows 11, which allows the system to display richer emoji with a 3D-like appearance. Apart from being available on Windows 11, the new emojis will also make their way into some apps and browsers.

If you want to try out the new emojis on your Windows 11-powered Samsung Galaxy Book, then you need to sign up for the Windows Insider Program to download the latest build.
