Samsung Galaxy A51, A51 5G, A52 get June 2023 security update

Samsung has been rolling out the June 2023 security update to its phones and tablets over the past three weeks. The latest phones getting the new security update are the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A51 5G, and Galaxy A52.

Galaxy A51, A51 5G, A52 June 2023 security update: What's new?

The latest software update for the Galaxy A51 comes with firmware version A515FXXU7HWF1, while the Galaxy A51 5G gets the update with firmware version A516BXXU7FWE2. These two phones are currently getting the update in the UK and could be released in more European countries soon.

The Galaxy A52 is getting the new security update with firmware version A525FXXU6DWE3. The device is getting updated in India, Russia, and Sri Lanka. These updates bring the June 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws in Galaxy phones and tablets. The updates don't bring any new features, though.

If you have a Galaxy A51, Galaxy A51 5G, or Galaxy A52 in the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
