Samsung's Portable SSD T7 Shield is available at a hefty discount, and if you're looking for a ton of storage, you can save up to 42% with this latest Amazon deal.

The 4TB Portable SSD T7 Shield is now available at Amazon for a 42% discount, or $249. You can save big on this 4TB rugged SSD, but if you're looking for a more affordable solution, you can also save on the 1TB and 2TB variants.

Amazon offers the 2TB model for $119 instead of the usual $139 price, and you can also buy the 1TB Portable SSD T7 Shield for $74 rather than $79. So, the more storage you want, the higher the price, but the bigger the discount, too.

No matter which storage options you might pick, the Portable SSD T7 Shield has an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, and Samsung says it can endure drops from up to 9.8 feet (2.98 meters) thanks to the elastomer outer shell. In terms of performance, the SSD offers read/write speeds of up to 1,050/1,000 MB/s.
