Google debuted the AI-powered Magic Eraser feature that perfectly removes (almost all) unwanted parts from a picture. However, it has been a Pixel-exclusive feature and isn't available to use on other smartphones. Other OEMs, however, have implemented their own version of the Magic Eraser, for example, Samsung has its own ‘Object Eraser‘ that works great. Google is now bringing the Magic Eraser feature to all Android phones subscribed to Google One.

Starting Thursday, Google announced in an official blog post that the Magic Eraser feature would be rolling out to Google One subscribers who use the Google Photos app on their Android devices. The feature will also be available for iOS users, along with all Pixel users. Eligible users can head to the Google Photos app, click on the Tools tab, and select Magic Eraser to launch it. You could also get access to a Magic Eraser shortcut when viewing the image in full screen.

By tapping on the Magic Eraser feature, Google will automatically identify distractions in your images, or you can manually select the objects that you wish to remove. Moreover, there is a Camouflage Mode as well, which will help change the color of the removed objects to help them blend in with the rest of the photo. If you do not like the outcome, then there is always an option to undo the changes.

Google is also bringing HDR video effects that will help enhance the brightness and contrast of videos. Google says the result will create “balanced videos that are ready to share.” Apart from this, Google is also adding a collage editor for Google One subscribers. They will also get a ‘range of new Styles' when making collages.

Last but not least, Google is giving all Google One subscribers residing in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom free shipping on Print Store orders. The features are already rolling out in Google Photos for Google One members on all plans.
