Samsung had revealed earlier this week that it will soon begin the One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S21 series. Yesterday, the company announced that the beta program will also be available for Sprint, T-Mobile, and unlocked units in the US. Now, it appears that Samsung has started testing the One UI 4.0 beta update internally in China.

The company seems to be testing the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta software for the Galaxy S21 series, and it has firmware version G99x0ZCU2ZUHI. While the changelog for this firmware doesn't mention any new features, tipster Ice Universe claims that the update brings slight UI modifications, a transparency effect in the notifications section, and improved animations. There is also a new charging animation that you can see in the tweet below, and some people may hate it.

It appears that Samsung will soon open the One UI 4.0 beta program in China, some European countries, India, South Korea, and the US. However, the US might get priority access to the beta program. Those who want to participate in the One UI 4.0 beta program will need to install the Samsung Members app and register themselves by clicking on the banner.
