Samsung has just released the second One UI 3.0 Android 11 beta build for the Galaxy S20 in the USA. The second beta update carries firmware version G98xU1UEU1ZTJG and Galaxy S20 owners who participate in the public beta testing phase should now be able to download it over the air.

The latest update weighs around 576MB and includes the October 2020 security patch though that is to be expected given that the same security level was included in the previous update. But more importantly, the new release fixes a handful of issues that came to light in the first One UI 3.0 beta build.

Improvements to DeX, storage, camera and more

One UI 3.0 beta 2 for the Galaxy S20 series in the USA should fix an issue that prevented the phone from booting normally when the internal storage was full. Similarly, it should address an issue that causes the phone to reboot when receiving a call.

Samsung also fixed a bug that prevented users from seeing photos inside the Gallery if the files were stored on the microSD card. In addition, users should now be able to change the font size in DeX without encountering any errors, and no network errors should occur when receiving MMS. Samsung also mentioned improvements to the quick panel and Camera.

If you're enrolled in the One UI 3.0 public beta program for the USA, you should be able to download the latest beta firmware update on your Galaxy S20 by opening Settings, accessing Software update and tapping Download and install. Once you apply the update, feel free to let us know in the comment section if you've found any other improvements, additions, or even new issues.
