Samsung discontinues Galaxy M10, Galaxy M10s, Galaxy M20 in India

Samsung made a successful comeback in the entry-level and mid-range smartphone segments with the launch of the Galaxy M series last year, selling millions of units within months. The Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 were among the first smartphones in the Galaxy M series. One year after their launch, the South Korean firm is no longer them.

The Galaxy M10, Galaxy M10s, and the Galaxy M20 are no longer listed on the company's website for the Indian market. They are also missing from the revised price list that was circulated among retailers last week, which points towards the discontinuation of the phones, at least in the Indian market. We expect the same to happen in other markets as well.

The Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 were launched in February 2019 with Android 8.1, while the Galaxy M10s debuted in September 2019 with Android 9. The Galaxy M10 received the Android 9 update in May 2019, while the Galaxy M20 received the Android 10 update in December last year. The Galaxy M10s is expected to get the Android 10 update sometime in the future.

After the launch of the Galaxy M11 and the Galaxy M21 last month, it was only logical for the company to discontinue the older phones sooner than later.
