This Galaxy Note 10 Pro leak is missing one crucial gadget

Today’s Galaxy Note 10 Pro leak follows the leaked Galaxy Note 10 renders from yesterday. We confirmed weeks ago that there will be two separate models of the upcoming flagship. The larger one may be called the Galaxy Note 10 Pro.

Much like the top-tier Galaxy S10+, one would have expected the Galaxy Note 10 Pro to feature a dual front camera. The Galaxy S10 5G even has a ToF camera up front. It seems that this gadget will be missing from the Galaxy Note 10 Pro if these renders are any indication of what’s to come.

Galaxy Note 10 Pro leak provides us a good glimpse

The overall Galaxy Note 10 Pro design shown in this leak is quite similar to the regular Galaxy Note 10. The bezels are slim with subtle curves around the edges. There’s also a vertical triple camera system at the back in addition to a ToF sensor.

A USB Type-C port can be seen at the bottom alongside the speaker grille and the S Pen. Yes, this doesn’t appear to have a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. While there are physical power and volume buttons, it seems that the Galaxy Note 10 really is going to ditch the dedicated Bixby key. The Galaxy Note 10 Pro reportedly measures 162.3 x 77.4 x 7.9mm with a 6.75-inch display. There’s a single front camera with the cutout placed right in the center.

It’s unclear if these renders are based on a prototype or the design that has made the final cut. If it’s the latter then the dual front camera will be missing on the Galaxy Note 10 Pro. This would mean no Live Focus Video feature that the ToF sensor allows on the Galaxy S10 5G. Samsung may have made a design decision here as a larger center-aligned cutout would have looked odd on the front.

What impression has the Galaxy Note 10 Pro made on you based on what you have seen so far? We have been hearing some strong opinions about the choices that Samsung has made. There’s something or the other about this device that seems to offend everyone. What’s something you wish to change on the Galaxy Note 10 Pro?

S10 5G have ToF on front and back ?

What about heart rate sensor ?

What are these two dots under the led flash ?

I know these are renders, but some things in this do not make sense yet. 1. The speaker for calls is really long, like over twice the size of the Note 9 and S10+. 2. Why are the three cameras and the three sensors/camera/flash not symmetrically lined up? 3. Why bring back the IR blaster after all this time away? 4. The center camera may not look the best, but it is placed up higher on the screen than the S10 family, giving more screen real-estate. And it looks smaller in design than the S10 family, so it may not… Read more »

Some good points, btw, you can change the order of the nav icons anyway.

In baseball terms, for me.
Strike 1 – The pill shaped cutout (for me, a notch)
Strike 2 – Camera setup vertically aligned in the corner a lo iPhone
Strike 3 – The removal of the headphone jack a lo iPhone.
It seems to be I’ll be done with Samsung and Note 9 will be my last Samsung phone if rumours 2 and especially 3 are true which at this point I’ve got the feeling they are.
Embarrassing indeed after all the mocking and bashing!! 😤

Maybe the ToF will be hidden under the screen. Or maybe it will be exactly the same design as the S10 plus.

looks like you were right about the headphone jack, and the click bait being ran. Idk who deleted your old comments but credit to you

Not digging the Apple and Huawei-esque camera alignment, at all. Also, unless they’ve found a way to combine the capabilities of the two front cameras into one, then I am salty about that, too. Not digging the center hole-punch, either.

This could be the first flagship where I do not like the design.

What a bummer. First they got rid of removable battery on Note 5. Next they get rid of earphones jack and give us a hole in the middle of the screen. And they never listen to our request like stereo speakers.
I don’t know who Samsung’s Product Manager is trying to please. Clearly, not the consumers…

I would have liked camera improvements instead of regression.

Samsung showed off a 3x sensor at least two years ago, and it’s nowhere to be seen. Now they have a 5x sensor, and it’ll be nowhere to be seen. The software still isn’t up to par with what others are doing, particularly in night shots.

Add to those omissions the lack of a headphone Jack, and a centered punch hole, and they’re really starting to hobble the media experience.

All that’s missing…for $200 more for the BASE model.

I hope there’s some surprises still in store.

Am i the only one who is seeing this…..
Look closely on the top of the device and make the picture brighter…
THERE IS A 3.5 MM JACK AND IR BLASTER 🙂

Haha I presume the bezel is similar size as those on the s10 but given the phone is so big, it will just make it look smaller 😃

Interesting to see it shifted all the buttons to 1 side and no bixby.

Not good news to lose the headphones jack. After using the ear buds I’ve actually gravitated back to the wired headphones as there are no lag.

Using the USB c headphones will have adverse affect to the port as I’ve seen on my iphone where the connector port gets damaged or “stretched” over time and leaving loose connections when charging.

If you look at the pictures above you will se the side bezels and forehead and chin are same size while on S10 the side bezels are smaller than the chin and forehead.
So if the side bezels on the Note 10 and S10 are same, then on Note 10 the chin and forehead should be smaller than the S10s.
But as always with renders, it’s hard to tell how big the bezels actually are
