Crappy specs, 18-24 month support? Put $600 towards that fruity company that supports their devices for YEARS, not months! My Galaxy Nexus 10 deserves to still be supported, it still kicks ass! All I need is a new rom to flash!

Some of these specs mentioned are very poor, given the fact that it’s a 2017 version and samsung only makes Tab S Tablets in a specific time period, like the ROM size should start at 64 GB, RAM size 6 GB, Front cam FHD High Dl-pixel with OIS and flash for highest quality video calling etc, IR Blaster and DLNA support, and 8 core CPU, and along with all the other mentioned hardware, this would be a much better tablet that would last the long update period of tablet upgrades, and sell a lot better/longer while making samsung more money… Read more »

I use my Tab S 8.4 as my only phone for more than a year now and I couldn’t be happier.
I’m interested to know if the cellular version of the S3 can be also used as a phone or not.
Also, one of the features that I don’t want to lose is the IR blaster. I use this everything day to control my IR devices at home an anywhere else I need to use and I can’t see this being mentioned anywhere in this article.

Only 32gb of on-board storage rules this out for me as a productivity tablet.
