As expected, all of the changes that Samsung has made to the handset are purely cosmetic. Aside from the multicolored Olympic Rings positioned on the backplate of the handset, the red power button, green volume buttons, yellow earpiece and home button, and the blue camera accent, this device is identical to the unit that launched back in March, meaning it sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 8890 Octa CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 12MP rear-facing camera and a 3,600mAh battery. It's also worth noting that Samsung has pre-loaded each Olympic Games Edition with an exclusive Rio 2016 Olympic Games theme and wallpapers.
You don't have to be an athlete to get your hands on this awesome variant, though. Samsung will also be selling a limited number of the Galaxy S7 edge Olympics Games Edition from July 18th in Brazil, China, Germany, Korea and the United States at a price that remains unknown for now.
