It’s seems the Note 5 is in for a very rough ride, every website and reviewer is damming the phone to hell, I hope the note 5 Bombs big time only then will Stupid Samsung listen. SAMSUNK you have condemned the note 5 before its even released, good job

It’ll be too little too late. They’ll have lost their key fanbase who will be locked into new contracts with other devices/brands and form new loyalties. So far for me, the anticipated LG G4 Pro is looking damn amazing.

If you watch closely, there seems to be a shift in strategy with flagship development. It used to be different for S & Note series. Now it seems they have streamlined both to same path, with less R&D needed for Note. It may save them lots of money and time and may have helped to focus on S7 earlier than usual product cycle schedules. There are a few disappointments but they seem confident that the dissidents may actually fall back more to Note 4 than many other manufacturer offerings while gaining some from the ultra premium segment customers(but not tech… Read more »

They’re going to lose many loyal users who will become loyal to other brands. It’ll be difficult to win them back considering contracts and terms for new devices. People are ready to upgrade their Note 2/3/4 NOW. The 5 doesn’t deliver in any aspect. With Samsung’s abandonment of the 4, people will jump ship and will be with other brands for a few years to come. And Apple fans are too dedicated to leave. Samsunk fail all across the board. Not to mention how many consecutive quarterly losses have they posted in the last how many years? It’s a big… Read more »

Loyal to other? I fail to find any other company except Apple who has loyal fans.
LG/HTC/Moto etc are mostly losing money. The only ones gaining market are Huawei & Xiaomi but they are yet to reach the scale or customer base to see how their products stand test of time. Samsung’s S5 & Note 4 specs are very good that they are better than some of the Chinese flagships of this year.
There is a backlash from power users against Note 5, curious to see who gains from this. Probably Moto X style & LG G4 Pro may find some.

No MicroSD and removable battery in the S6 and it failed miserably. And for some reason Samsunk thought “hey, let’s bring those (lack of) features to the Note series (of which users are generally more techy) and maybe it’ll fly!”…

The only saving grace is if they’re so proud of this new Note 5 that the 4’s drop in price dramatically. Otherwise once I leave the Samsunk ship, I’ll never return. LG’s is looking quite attractive right now.

Fingers crossed for the S7 to add back the most promising features that we love to use & needs to fix the minor mistakes that the S6 & the Note 5 range had this year.

Why Note 5 sucks: same as galaxy s6 only bigger, same as galaxy s6 edge+ but without edges. Samsung WTF stop copying your older devices but not just in design, you should have made Note 5 and s6edge+ more durable, with better battery, microsd, better resolution (3K) c’mon we all know you could do that!!!!!!!
P.S. a good chance s6 edge+ is gonna screw up after all because it has a “+” in it like S2 variant which failed.

Agree. Such a shame that Samsung isn’t listening back to our critical feedbacks on no micro-sd support & lengthier battery life!

As I understood it with UFS it means the inclusion of an sd card means a big performance loss but otherwise your points are pretty valid

At least I am disappointed.
I had hopes until the last minute that at least one of the 2 phones was useful for me.
No Battery nor an SD Slot on either of the “Top” Phones.
A perfect day for Apple, watch their share price…

Hopefully other manufacturers listen to the voice of customers…
Really time to publish good exit-path’s for former Note-Fans.

Perfect day for Apple?

No SD, no removable battery and no pen on their devices. Why would people go to them?

90% of the Galaxy Note teaser video praises its DESIGN. People who buy phones due their design most likely buy Apple since a while. I doubt that a lot of Apple users switch to Samsung now. More likely, now that Samsung officially confirmed that SD Cards and exchangeable Batteries are things of the past, people may think its time to safely move (or stick with) well designed phones. (I personally plan now to replace my Note 3 with a Note 4 unless a better phablet with SD and exchangable Battery is seen very soon. If so, thx for a hint.… Read more »
