If there's one Samsung event that everyone is looking forward to its the IFA launch of the Galaxy Note 4. That event has already been confirmed for September 3rd but before the company goes down to Berlin to unveil its latest Note, its heading to New York City. Invites for an event on August 20th have been sent out today, Barnes & Noble will share the stage as Samsung is going to show off their first co-branded tablet.
It was first revealed back in June that Samsung will be working together with Barnes & Noble to develop co-branded tablets. At the time they gave us a glimpse of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook which features software from B&N and hardware from our favorite Korean company. Galaxy Tab 4 Nook has a 7-inch display and will be available for purchase later this month, the companies said back then.
While Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook will be the highlight of this event it hasn't revealed any more information about what we can expect. Presumably it will talk about the device's specifications and explain how it plans on taking this partnership further.
