The S90C is Samsung's high-end 4K TV featuring a QD-OLED screen. It was launched in early 2023 during the CES 2023 event. It sat one step below the company's flagship OLED TV that year, the S95C. It was launched in four sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch. However, the 83-inch version used LG's WRGB OLED panel instead of Samsung's QD-OLED panel.
It received several accolades from professional testers and reviewers, becoming among the highest-rated TVs launched in 2023. It offered exceptional picture quality for the price, which started at $1,900 in the US but was frequently sold at $1,300 from several retailers, including Samsung.

It has a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM). When connected to a gaming console (like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X) or a gaming PC, it offers a tear-free gaming experience. Samsung's S90C has a 2.1-channel speaker system with 40W RMS audio output. It is compatible with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus. Other audio features of the TV include Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound+, and Object Tracking Sound. It can also transmit audio to two Bluetooth earphones simultaneously.
Its Neural Quantum Processor 4K can upscale non-4K content to 4K for improved picture quality.
