The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has started getting a new software update in Ukraine. The latest update comes with firmware version F916BXXS1DUE5, and it includes the June 2021 security patch. Samsung is yet to publish detailed documentation regarding this security patch, but that could happen over the next few days. The update could roll out in most other markets, including Asia, Europe, North America, and South America, within the next couple of weeks.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user in Ukraine, you might have already received the OTA update notification. Samsung had launched the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in the second half of last year with Android 10-based One UI 2.5 on board. Earlier this year, the phone received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update and then the One UI 3.1 update. The foldable phone is currently on Samsung's monthly security update schedule.
