Samsung is celebrating the UK's Spring Bank Holiday on May 27 by rewarding those who won't be able to take a day off. The company has announced a giveaway of 24 mobile devices and unbeatable discounts on select Galaxy phones, including high-end and foldables.
Samsung UK says that, despite the next Bank Holiday helping some people get a bit of time off, 42% of workers in the UK won't have that privilege. “From dedicated nurses to devoted retail staff, much of the nation will be clocking in the extra hours this weekend,” said Samsung in a recent announcement.
According to the company citing OnePoll research, the top 5 industries working over the May Bank Holiday in the UK are Healthcare, Education, Retail, Professional Services, and Technology.
Giving away Galaxy phones
To reward these workers and show appreciation, Samsung UK will be launching a giveaway this Friday, May 24, and gift 24 mobile devices to 24 lucky winners.
If you want to enter the giveaway, you only need to email Samsung at [email protected] from May 24 to May 28 and say what job you do, the shift you'll be working this weekend, and why you deserve the prize.
As for the 24 mobile devices Samsung will be giving away, the prize pool consists of two Galaxy S24 flagships, one Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable flip phone, and twenty-one Galaxy A25 budget phones. Terms and conditions apply, and winners will be randomly selected.
