Samsung has announced that it is bringing Bluetooth LE Audio-based Auracast feature to its 8K Neo QLED and Micro LED TV models released this year. Thanks to this new audio broadcasting technology, which was announced early last year, users can pair multiple Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds with Samsung's high-end TVs. This would allow multiple users to simultaneously hear audio from the TV wirelessly. Earlier, only two wireless earbuds could be paired with these TVs. This new feature will be released to compatible smart TV models in September 2023.
The company has already improved the audio quality and latency when using the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro with its high-end laptops. Thanks to LE Audio, users would experience improved audio quality and lower latency when using the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro with the Galaxy Book 3, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. Samsung plans to announce more Bluetooth LE Audio-based features at the IFA 2023 event in Berlin next week.
Junho Park, VP and Head of Galaxy Ecosystem Product Planning Team at Samsung MX, said, “As an innovator across a wide range of electronic devices — from smartphones to wearables, and from TVs to home appliances — we at Samsung are in a unique position to capitalize on delivering more seamless and extended experiences. LE Audio is a perfect example that shows our commitment to connected experiences across our entire library of devices, and how Samsung is introducing new capabilities and technologies that bring them all together.”
