In fact, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is also the focus in the first advertisement that Samsung has released as part of what's no doubt going to be a long marketing campaign ahead of the event. The ad doesn't show any of the new devices Samsung is set to unveil at the end of the month, but the company has slyly confirmed one of the Galaxy Z Flip 5's best features.
In a blink-and-you-miss-it moment in the ad, we can see what is clearly the Galaxy Z Flip 5's cover screen. While the phone isn't shown fully, it's easy to see that its cover screen is larger than the one you get on a Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Galaxy Z Flip 3. Not that confirmation was needed considering the leaks and rumors have already revealed the Z Flip 5 will bring a bigger, more useful cover display, but this ad should lay any doubts people had to rest.
It will be interesting to see if Samsung will tease the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9, or Galaxy Watch 6 at some point. Right now the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is stealing all the limelight, but we're assuming Samsung will put the spotlight on each of the new devices as we move closer to the Unpacked event.
Samsung has already opened reservations for the new devices in some countries and will be providing a $50 credit to those who pre-order in the US. But there's also a way you can get one of the two foldables for free: all you need to do is enter our giveaway before July 27 and you'll be in the running to win a Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Galaxy Z Fold 5.
