It has been known for some time now that the next Samsung Unpacked event is going to take place in the last week of July. The company will be unveiling the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the event, alongside a new flagship tablet and the Galaxy Watch 6 smartwatch lineup.
Samsung has confirmed the July 26 Unpacked event today and has treated us to a teaser of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. There's no doubt as to when it's going to be unveiling at the event anymore. Not like the many Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 leaks we've had so far had us in much doubt to begin with.
This is the first Unpacked event to be held in Seoul
Samsung shifted to virtual Unpacked events due to the pandemic and now it's finally coming back to in-person events. The company has switched up its strategy for these events. It will now be conducting Unpacked events in a different city every year to showcase cultural and futuristic visions alongside its products.
It's no surprise that the July 26 Unpacked event is taking place in Seoul, the capital of Samsung's home country, South Korea. Seoul is also where the headquarters of Samsung Electronics is located. Media from across the globe will descend on Seoul for the event and SamMobile will be on the ground too, so do stay tuned for our updates straight from South Korea.
Samsung has shared a short teaser of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 with its announcement of the Unpacked event. It doesn't reveal much about the device, merely a side-angle that shows the device being unfolded. Not like there's much curiosity left about the device following the biggest Unpacked leak.
