The One UI 4.0 rollout won't resume until Google and Samsung solve the issue. It sounds like the problem may not lie entirely with Samsung, or at all, but whatever the case may be, they are working hard to resume the One UI 4.0 firmware rollout as soon as possible.
Samsung's latest foldable phones suffered a similar fate in South Korea, and the company had to temporarily halt the Android 12 One UI 4.0 release. We tested the firmware on the Galaxy Z Flip 3, and it seems to be working fine, but that doesn't mean other users haven't experienced problems with their devices following the latest firmware update.
Similarly, we have yet to find any severe issues with the Galaxy S21 running Android 12, so this latest problem appears to be limited in reach. Nevertheless, it's bad enough to have convinced Samsung to put the update on hold in South Korea. We'll let you know as soon as we find out if other regions are also affected.
If you've experienced problems with our Galaxy S21 running One UI 4.0, especially related to Google Play, feel free to share in the comment section below.
