As you probably know by now, if you followed our weekly series, Samsung's Game Launcher is more than a pseudo apps drawer for mobile games. It's a game platform and a mini-game in itself. Gamers have goals to achieve within the Game Launcher, and upon doing so, they unlock new creatures, i.e., profile pictures.

Today, we're taking a closer look at the Gamer Profile feature in Game Launcher and how you can put to good use all those unlocked profile pictures you've earned from hatching eggs.

    Game Launcher Gamer Profile Overview

The Gamer Profile in Game Launcher has several functions, including a progress breakdown of the egg-hatching mini-game and information about your play time and favorite categories of games.

You can also customize your gamer profile name and picture with one of the many creatures you can unlock by playing the egg-hatching mini-game in Game Launcher.

    Story continues after the video

To access the Gamer Profile, open the Game Launcher and tap the profile picture in the upper-left corner of the “Home” tab.

Tapping “Edit” in the Gamer Profile page will let you edit your Game Profile name and change your profile picture.

If you want to increase your collection of profile pictures, here's everything you need to know about playing the Game Launcher egg-hatching mini-game and unlocking more creatures.
