The entry-level Galaxy S21 FE model, soon to be available at the prices mentioned above, comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but it's otherwise identical to the more expensive 8GB/256GB model.
The Galaxy S21 FE with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage should go on sale for ~800 euros. In the USA and UK, this Galaxy S21 FE variant will hit the market at the price of $749 / £749.
The Galaxy S21 FE is technically superior to the Galaxy S20 FE in nearly every aspect, save for one: color availability.
Unlike the Galaxy S20 FE, the sequel will be released in only four color options, two of which won't be obtainable everywhere. This is a clear step-down from last year's model, which you could've bought in 1 of 6 colors at launch.
Of course, Samsung hasn't given up on the idea of giving customers rich personalization options, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 was the first to offer a Bespoke Edition. But as yet, this service hasn't extended to other smartphone models, even though the Galaxy S21 FE could've been a prime candidate.
The Galaxy S21 FE is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset in most markets, including Europe, though in select Asian countries, it ships with the Exynos 2100 SoC under the hood.
With the €749 / $699 / £699 entry-level launch price in mind, it's worth noting that the Galaxy S21 FE ships in an eco-friendly box without accessories. Samsung is shipping the device with a USB-C cable, leaving it on customers to acquire a wall charger and a pair of earbuds separately.
