Samsung India has started teasing the Galaxy F22 on its own website and Twitter. The device features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The South Korean firm has also revealed through teaser images that the Galaxy F22 will feature a 48MP quad-camera setup on the rear and will come powered by a 6,000mAh battery.
Except for the increased battery capacity, there doesn't seem to be any hardware change between the Galaxy A22 and the Galaxy F22. So, we expect the device to feature a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It might have a 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad-camera on the rear and a 13MP front-facing camera.
The Galaxy F22 could launch with Android 11 on board. Its connectivity features could include GPS, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Although the teaser images only showcase the phone in black, the device could be launched in at least one more color. The phone is expected to cost somewhere around INR 18,499 ($250).
