Nine months after launching the Galaxy A70, Samsung today unveiled the Galaxy A71. This is the second new phone from Samsung's 2020 Galaxy A lineup to be unveiled so far, the first being the Galaxy A51. Samsung has made some design improvements to the device and upgraded some of the specs. However, it has more than a few similarities with the Galaxy A70.

For starters, the display size is exactly the same on both devices, even though the Galaxy A71 uses an Infinity-O display with a centered punch hole for the selfie camera. Both devices are made of the same Glasstic material but Samsung has added a bit of splash to it with the new prism pattern and colors.

The Galaxy A71 offers significant improvements in the camera department even though some of its other specs remain the same as the Galaxy A70. Samsung has neither added a bigger battery nor ramped up the charging speed on the new model.

Let's do a deeper dive into the specs of both devices to see how they stack up against each other.
