Samsung's portable projector, The Freestyle, gained more and more popularity after its unveiling at CES at the beginning of the year. More recently, The Freestyle got picked by Oprah for the 2022 Oprah's Favorite Things gift list. The latter is a renowned yearly holiday shopping guide for readers in the USA, bringing all sorts of must-have products, gadgets, and consumer electronics into the spotlight for prospective buyers.

The holiday shopping guide is featured on OprahDaily.com and in the Winter issue of O Quarterly, which reached newsstands on November 1. Samsung's The Freestyle projector was chosen by Oprah for its versatility and portable form factor. The shopping guide reads: “point onto any wall to turn it [The Freestyle] into a big screen. You can use your favorite streaming apps from it, and it's got powerful speakers, just like a movie theater.”

The Freestyle is a smart TV wrapped in a portable projector. It supports streaming apps like Netflix and has built-in digital assistants, including Bixby and Amazon Alexa. However, it does not support Samsung's Gaming Hub.

A chance to win The Freestyle in the 12-Day Give-O-Way Sweepstakes

As part of an ongoing Black Friday deal, The Freestyle is now available for $597 at Amazon in the USA and for $599 at Samsung's online store. The original retail price was $899.

Twelve lucky OprahDaily readers will also get a chance to win The Freestyle for free during the 12-Day Give-O-Way Sweepstakes event. The latter runs from November 11 through November 22.
