One of the many features Samsung’s smartphones and tablets have been offering for quite a while now include Boost Dialogue. It amplifies mid frequencies or voices in audio so that you can listen to people talking or singing properly even when with background sound, Well, with the tech giant’s Android 16-based One UI 8.0, accessing Boost Dialogue is getting easier.
In Android 15-based One UI 7.0, to access Boost Dialogue, you had to go to Settings » Sounds and vibration » Sound quality and effects. In the latest beta version of Android 16-based One UI 8.0 on the Galaxy S25 series, all you have to do to access it is slide down from the top of the screen to access Quick Panel, long press on the volume slider, and enable Boost Dialogue.
Previously, since Boost Dialogue was hidden in Settings, very few people knew about it. Now that it is part of Quick Panel , more people will know about it and use it. While One UI 8.0 isn’t as big of an update as One UI 7.0, it still brings many changes. You can check them out here.
At the moment, there’s no information about when Samsung will release the stable version of One UI 8 and when it will offer the update to eligible devices. Hopefully, the brand will announce those details at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is on 9 July 2025.
